Calories consumed=calories eaten?!?

The phobia of the outdoor run still seems to haunt me. Saturday morning was no exception. I know that it was rainy, cold, and windy, and that I trained completely outdoors in December back in 2002...try telling my brain that! I am hoping that I can overcome the hurdle and get outside for the rest of my long runs now that the weather SHOULD be getting better.

The next dilemma for me is also a mental one (imagine that). My brain thinks that because I run a long run that gives me a free pass to eat all I want. After a long, painful, bloated 8 miles on the treadmill Saturday afternoon, I haven't stopped eating. Yummy Mexican Saturday night, followed by several porters on tap, today my poison was Ben & Jerry 's Chubby Hubby, remaining Easter candy, ugh. The good part of my brain tells me to stop, but it just ain't happening. I will be one in-shape "FAT" ASS MFer!

The good news is, I watched NBC nightly news and a man ran his first marathon today at age 101, he drinks no water, 8 pints of beer a day and about 14 cigarettes. Jason has a new idol!
