Heidi....cows...running in the dark....JEALOUS!
Ok, I saw Amy after the Crazy Legs (nice to meet you by the way) and decided I better try this blog thing. Anyway, I ran on Saturday and finished in 45:14. I figured that was good considering it was FRICKEN' FREEZING outside and we waited for 30 minutes to even start running. It wasn't too bad though. I kept up with Tommy for a little over a mile and then he was gone. Apparently I ran with him while he warmed up....glad I could keep up that long...he is a little faster than me!
Obviously the best part of the race was finishing! Running into Camp Randall was pretty cool. But for some reason I am still nervous for the 1/2 marathon. I don't know why...it's only 13.1 miles! Yikes!
P.S. Julie, where are you? We ran one time together and I haven't heard from you since. I need someone to run with, it's so boring alone on a treadmill!
