Ok, ever since Saturday I have been having this big fear of running outside. Jason had to work, so I waited until he got home on Saturday to run, outside. I got all dressed to run outside and then stepped outside and decided it was too cold, windy, hilly (yeah right- Julie we are glaciated in Muskego, so its just like my chest--flat) and ran inside instead. I had a good run and ran 7 on the treadmill, but was starting to doubt if I could run outside. Last night was my first night of coaching, I had already run 3 miles in the morning at school, but took my runners outside for about 20 minutes of running/walking. It gave me just enough confidence to give it a try again.
So this morning when I felt too tired to run, I lifted instead. Tonight after too many El Rey chips with supper (sorry you weren't here Jamie) I went out and did a 3 mile loop and survived. I am hoping to ease my fear of the outdoor run and will try to do it again this weekend.
