Crazylegs, too

It was nice to meet you Amanda. Crazylegs was sort of surreal for me. As we were running around the corner and saw Camp Randall looming ahead of us, I was so pumped to just have ran 5 miles with my dad. We have never run together because he broke his leg before I started running, which ended his running. It was nice to experience that with him. I took his pace and we finished at 45:09. Christina and her friend Lisa also ran, and they looked great and did a super job. Not bad, Chris, for someone who hates to run. Woot! Woot!
On the way home, Natia sleeping, I had to cry (damn genes Phyllis) because I had to think of Drew watching his wife, sister, and dad run, and him sitting in the stands. I am not sure if he ever misses running, because he never complains and is always upbeat, but man sometimes I just gotta say that frickin' sucks. Maybe someday "the six million dollar man" will make a comeback...
I still wanted to run a few more miles when I got home, with the wind and all I hopped on the treadmill and after 2 1/2 miles my knee was out of commission. I stopped and it really hurt. It hurt most of the day on Sunday, which made me very lovely to be around (sorry Zeke). I did ice it and hot tub and it felt better, but not great by the end of the day. Finally, this morning no pain. Thank God! I ran on the treadmill this morning and all was well.
We'll get there!
Are you all registered yet? Cost goes up after May 1st.

I thought the same kind of thing about Drew on Friday night, while Chris and I were talking about if we could do the 13 miles or not. You're right though, you'd never know if he was upset or not...he is just about the coolest guy ever.
I plan to register today! Big step!
